PROJECT IN PROGRESS
Diving Britain
The goal of the Diving Britain project is to raise awareness of diving in the United Kingdom by capturing the culture, people and environments.

About The Diving Britain Project
It is often easy to forget that we live on an Island. Beneath the surface of British waters is a world that is rarely seen, yet deeply connected to questions of public interest: access to nature, coastal identity, marine conservation, working lives, safety, and the changing health of our seas.
Diving in the UK is woven into everyday life, from recreational, environmental volunteers, instructors, to commercial divers, rescue teams, wreck explorers and coastal communities.
By documenting these lives and landscapes, the project aims to show how British waters hold stories about heritage, risk, recreation, climate, and our relationship with the natural world.
At its heart, the work asks a simple question: what does it mean to enter the water in Britain today, and what does that reveal about the country above the surface?
Why Me?
I'm passionate about UK diving. I regularly dive off the South Coast as an active member of the Tech Diving Community. I feel like the UK diving world is a little know part of British life, but that it ranges from recreational, to manufacturing, defence, environmental research & health.
I'm an Advanced Twinset Diver with Accelerated Decompression Procedure certification & I'm a qualified Assistant Instructor. Part of Richmond Sub Aqua Club.
